Series: 1 path, all components.
Parallel: Many paths.
Current(I): How quickly the currents move.
Voltage(V) How much energy the electrons are carrying.
Resistance: Used to slow/resist the flow of electrons.
Voltage rule: In series, the voltage is split between components. In parallel, the voltage is the same everywhere.
Current rule: In series current is the same everywhere. In parallel current is split between pathways.
